Calm and Connected

Calm & ConnectedR: Parenting Kids & Teens with ADHD/Executive Function Challenges

A live, interactive workshop series designed for parents who are trying hard - and still hitting walls. Not because they're doing it wrong, but because no one has explained how their child's brain actually works.

My child can do it sometimes - so why not all the time?

I'm exhausted from reminding, nagging, and repeating myself.

Strategies work for a week, then everything falls apart again.

Where parents land after Calm & Connected
  • Understanding the brain behind the behavior
  • Responding with calm instead of reacting
  • Realistic expectations rooted in how ADHD works
  • Less conflict - and a stronger connection
  • Tools that build real skills, not just compliance
A program with global reach

Taught worldwide. Built on a framework that actually fits how these kids' brains work.

The Calm & Connected model has helped thousands of parents across the US, Canada, and internationally - facilitated by trained coaches and professionals certified in its principles. It was created by Cindy Goldrich specifically to address what generic parenting programs miss: the unique cognitive, emotional, and behavioral profile of children and teens with ADHD and Executive Function challenges.

Understanding before strategy

Parents first learn why their child's behavior makes sense given how ADHD and Executive Function affect the brain. That shift changes everything - including what strategies you reach for and how you use them.

Live and interactive - not a recording

Every session is live via Zoom. You can ask questions, hear from other parents, and work through your specific situation in real time - not watch a video alone and wonder if it applies.

Connection before correction

The program isn't built around controlling behavior. It's built around rebuilding connection, collaborative problem-solving, and the kind of relationship where real skill development can happen.

You're not alone in this

Parents consistently describe the program as validating, clarifying, and hopeful. You will recognize yourself in other parents' stories - and that matters as much as any strategy you walk away with.

What parents are saying

In their own words.

"This course has really made me look at my son - not just a boy, not just an ADHD kid, but as himself. I'm enjoying him so much more. I look at him through a different lens now. He's my little buddy. He's so much more than just his struggles."

Lauren A. - Mother

"I learned that my daughter doesn't have a deficit in attention. She has a deficit in attention regulation - deciding where to focus her attention. That one idea changed everything."

Angela - Mother of 9-year-old girl

"Cindy's Calm and Connected class completely changed my relationship with my son. Being a parent of a neurodiverse child is the hardest job in the world, so to receive help from someone who truly understands has been life-changing."

Tiffany F.

"I felt relieved to understand that my son is wired differently, and that's ok."

Ken - Father of 15-year-old boy

"I now really know how to distinguish if my child is being willfully defiant or if he is just really struggling. This allows me to respond more effectively and actually help change the outcomes."

Elisa R. - Mother

"I feel so much less stress as a parent. I knew I needed to be more consistent and create structure - but now I have the tools and confidence to really make the changes for me and for my child."

Jane S. - Mother
